A storefront without the lease.

Denkyem's Mobile Market is creating a scalable pathway for entrepreneurs to access customers, test products, gain insights, and grow revenue without the traditional cost of storefront retail. It's a fitted-out van you book for the day at events in and around Seattle — markets, street fairs, block parties.

What this is

Picking the wrong day or the wrong market costs more than the fee does. The stock, the setup and the hours are the same either way.

That's the part we can help with. We track the permitted events across greater Seattle and how they've drawn in past years, so what you pick isn't a guess.

The rest is yours. Book the van for a day, set up, sell to whoever walks past, and go home — trading under your own name, at your own prices, to your own customers.

How it works

  1. 01

    Tell us what you sell

Get on the vendor list and we'll let you know when van dates open near you.

  2. 02

    Get set up

Before a first event we'll need your business details and proof of insurance. We walk you through it.

  3. 03

    Show up and sell

Turn up, set up, trade. Your own POS, your own prices, your own customers.

What we bring

  • A lender that already backs small business

Denkyem is a certified CDFI. More than 100 Washington businesses are financed through us.

  • The day, chosen with data

We track the permitted events across greater Seattle and how they've drawn in past years, so nobody's picking a market day on a hunch.

  • A van that's already fitted out

A Mercedes eSprinter with shelving that folds down into a shopfront, with room for two businesses.

Get on the vendor list

We'll tell you when van dates open near you, and send the Vendor Toolkit as soon as it's finished. It covers a market-day checklist, what paperwork you need in Washington, and how to get a certificate of insurance.

Where this goes

Most people start with one event. If it works, there's somewhere to go next.

  1. 1

    Guest

Turn up for a single event and see how it goes. No membership.

  2. 2

    Member

For makers coming back regularly — a yearly membership, and a lower fee each event.

  3. 3

    Growth

For businesses building a schedule around it, at the lowest event fee.

Pricing as low as $25 per event.

The van

A Mercedes Sprinter fitted out with shelving that folds down into a shopfront, with room for two vendors. Both our vans are still prototypes — we're learning what makers actually need from the space, so the fit-out keeps changing.
